is this a good camera?

I saw this and love it but not sure if its a great camera, i need your opinion and if u have it, how clear are the pictures?

My friend had on identical to that and I hate it. The pics were really crappy looking

Youre not going to get a good SLR for that amount. Either buy a point and shoot or just spend the money on a SLR. I like the Nikon Compact.
