what should I expect at my doctors appt..

posted 11th Oct
About 2 weeks ago I had an ultrasound and found out that the baby is breech..tomorrow will be my first doctors appt since my ultrasound so I haven't had a chance to talk to my doctor about the baby being breech..it's really been bothering me because baby is sitting up so high and I don't feel any preasure or discomfort down there at all and I remember with my first DS it was quite obvious when he was head down...now that I'm almost 37 weeks I know I'm running out of time and I'm just assuming my doctors going to want to go with a c-section...which I do not want..I'm just not sure what to say to her if she just expects me to go through with a c-section..I've been on spinningbabies.com and I've tired a few things that I do daily but nothing has seemed to help...anyways I'd like to wait until I go into labor and give baby the chance to turn and then of course if he hasn't I would be okay with a c-section..I'm also going to talk to my doctor about the possibilty of delivering the baby breech if everything is going okay....I've obvious just never had this issue before and I'm wondering what I can expect from my doctor..

I think a momma on here just delivered twins naturally and i believe one baby was breech..i think her name is momlette , so breech delivery are possible.

The second baby turned for Momlette. They usually do, it isn't that often they stay breech. My daughter turn literally minutes before they were deciding to induce or do a c section.

I know that is possible I'm just not sure if my doctro will agree to it..I was reading online and I read that doctors aren't even trained on how to deliever breech babies anymore..I've just had 2 weeks to freak myself out lol...I'm probably overthinking everything like a crazy lady..

This is exactly why I don't want a planned c-section because I know he can still turn and I'd rather wait and see and have the labor and delivery like I've planned instead of just agreeing with a c-section because my doctors wants to..

I'm just afraid that if I say no to her that she'll thinking I'm being selfish rather then thinking of the safety of my baby..

So? It is just her opinion. There honestly is no medical need for it.

So your 37 weeks. You have plenty of time for the baby to flip over. I was told that the baby can flip over many times right up till delivery.
