When did they change the happy meal box to a bag?? That was part of the "Happy Meal charm"! After my son's doc. appt. today, i bought him his first Happy Meal, but I am kind of unhappy about the stupid bag  

We had the bags foreverrrr I think they just got the boxes back.

They have been bags for at least 5 years in my hometown.

probably cause its cheaper to just give bags, but i liked the boxes too.

They haven't had boxes since I was a kid but now they're back!!

I don't go but maybe once a year, and I dont think I've ordered a happy meal in a long time. That just isnt right man.

I got a happy meal a few days ago and got a box.

Same here... I think it would be a lot better if they had somewhere you could recycle the box in mcdonalds.

we randomly get boxes or bags at any time. has been like that for a long time.

i know of only 1 mcdonalds here that still does the boxes.. but yea it sucks with the bag. even burger king has a box now for kids meals

We had bags from when we ran ouyta boxes

When I worked at McDonald's (I was 16) I worked drive through, we had boxes and bags, when the boxes got low we had to switch to bags... It was a Quality Assurance type thing, every location had to have "X" amount of boxes and bags on site at any given time ... It was weird
