Leftover chicken recipes.
posted 11th Oct
I have a whole chicken in the crock pot and it will be ready in just a few hours. We'll have chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and rolls. I know for a fact we will have leftover chicken and broth. What's a good recipe for tomorrow to use up all the chicken and broth?

turn the broth into gravy and make pot pies! cut up the chicken and mix with veggies and gravy. I use stuffing for the bottom crust an mashed potatoes for the top crust but you could also use normal pie crust. so delish!

I like creamy chicken and noodles. Saute some veggies and then add the chicken, heat all through. Add cream of mushroom soup, heat through, then sour cream at the end just before serving. Boil some egg noodles (you can do this in the broth for extra flavor), drain and add to the chicken mixture.

When I make pasta I usually cook it in chicken broth instead of water, it's good!!
You could even make a cold macaroni chicken salad, but cook the macaroni in the broth.

I love the pot pie idea! You could make some chicken pittas with spinach and other veggies maybe some ranch if it floats your boat and a cheese of your choice. Then use the broth to boil rice in and add some seasonings like garlic salt to it.
