kinda irritated,

So when I went into planned parent hood they made it so urgent I get the US done to see whats up with my IUD. Well turns out my uterus rejected it, and its highly likely it will happen a second time. So as you know its not working in the mean time, and the soonest they could get me in would be 2 weeks  

Thats a long time with no BC, && I didn't buy condoms thinking I was safe.

Any ideas for BC? I always forget to take pills, and will NOT have a rod stuck in my arm. lol

Yea my cousin said one of her employees got preggos on the Mirena too!

I was thinking the patch maybe? Cause I can't remember a pill every day, but once a week should be doable

i tried the patch. it peeled off way to easily. i got pregnant with my 2nd on the patch.

well i heard one of those "if you or a loved one..." on the radio today about mirena but i see those about yaz and it's still being prescribed i believe.

and i thought the patch was taken off the market because of blood clots? i guess it was just my gyno who didn't want to prescribe them.

Yeah it is. They still do the joint implants that are being recalled too but it's something to keep in mind.

I don't understand a recall for blood clots. It's a possible side effect of hormonal birth control, heh. I know down in Florida they still prescribe the patch.

I keep joking that I'll be the woman who gets pregnant after getting a tubal.

My sister got pregnant on the patch. I had the implanon (in my arm) i personally didnt like it because i bled all the time but my sister loved it. I'm on the pill and i just set an alarm on my phone for the same time everyday so i remember to take it.

I was thinking of going back on the pill, because I know how it works on my body. I was on it when I was 15 (heavy periods) but I almost ALWAYS forgot to take it even when I was staring at the reminder! Like I'd be in the middle of something and I'll be like 'I'll take it in 20 once I get back to the house' get home - no pill!
