"Can't" Pay child support...

My nephew's father has not paid a dime of child support. My nephew is almost two years old.

Yet he paid to get two huge tattoos with his son's name on them. I just don't get it?
Why would you get a child's name tattooed on you that you refuse to support or even see on a regular basis?

The worst part is my sweet SIL is young and "in love" and lets him get away with these things.

They should have a dead beat dad reporting hotline!

bc its a "reason" to get a tattoo is my best guess. and yeah he's an idiot and so is she if she lets him get away with that crap IMO. You can be "in love" all you want but bottom line is he's not putting his kids needs above his own and neither is she. Poor kid

Its about the child. Not the mother and dad.

When he "feels" like it. They have a visitation schedule but he doesn't have a car or job. So if he sees him SIL has to take him over there and bring him home. Its awful. But he shows his tattoos so proudly, like he is a great dad.

I just pray she sees how great she is and she deserves better.

  dang. Is it court ordered? I know she can still get backed up child support. If he doesn't pay they can take his tax refund and give it to her.

I am pretty sure they have a warrant out for him. Not sure exactly how CS works, though,
They can't take a refund from a deadbeat who never had a job. lol

She doesn't need the money for him, it's just the principle. His child support is only 40 dollars a week and he still won't pay it.

Dang thats it! thats not much. I dont know. I am probably the wrong person to give adivice. I have my opioions on CS and they are not popular among women. If she is doing fine without it, then she she be proud of herself

wow that is it?! Yes he can get a warrant for not paying child support then they may take his license...Sucks for him because it isn't that much. Good thing she can make it without him.
