Are you with someone with majorly different views than yourself?
Religious.. political.. whatever?
If so, do you argue?
If not, would it be hard for you to be with someone you disagreed with on most major issues?

We're very similar in our views. All but abortion apparently

I couldnt be with someone who had drastically different views than myself. Especially religion. I tried being with an atheist once and as a Christian it was not good.

DH has different religious views than I do, but that doesn't really affect us.
There's really only one thing we disagree on and it only causes arguments if it's brought up.

Overall, meh.

My husband and I have COMPLETELY different views on gays. We fight about it every time it comes up. But there just comes a point where you have to agree to disagree or the relationship won't work.

SO and I are completely opposite on some issues. Gay marriage, abortions, and a lot of child-raising issues. We don't fight about anything like that, we mostly just agree to disagree and when it comes to raising LO we just compromise.

Hell, I argue with myself about that smurf on a daily basis.

BF and I disagree on stuff that is easy to over look.

Have been with people in the past and it became an issue between us.

Again, though.... I fight with myself on major issues. I tend to have lots of conflicting views on almost every subject, especially when it comes to politics and religion. I don't expect anyone to agree with me all the time when I can't even agree with myself.

My husband and I have similar views on almost everything. I could not be with someone that didn't share the same views on things, would make for many arguments.

I think for the most part we are pretty similar. We do have different religious views and we don't talk to them often because I end up all butt hurt, lol. It isn't a big deal in our relationship. His mom is more of the pushing smurf down my throat....

I've had atheist friends who I wasn't too close with but I probably couldn't deal with an atheist boyfriend. It'd be too different.

My husband and I are VERY different in Religion, and politics. Almost opposites.

We don't argue because our reasoning for both is researched and intelligent. We go "around and around" sometimes and it always boils down to different ways things can be defined or what you feel is more important then something else.

He has changed some of my views a bit, and I most certainly have changed some of his.

My husband and I disagree on a lot. Neither of us are diehard with our politics, but I run more democrat and he runs more republican. We argue at times, but usually are able to keep it civil. I find it's been good because we both understand the other side better, and I'd say we've been been drawn more into the middle ground.

He says I've made him MUCH more softhearted (as have the kids) and he's made me a bit more cynical, haha

I think I'd be bored if I was with someone whom I always agreed with. Might as well just talk to my self all day, lol
