EBF + pacis
posted 11th Oct
DS likes to comfort nurse all night then he ends up spitting up all over the bed from nursing too much. I always put him on the empty side but it doesn't seem to help. We also want to transition from co-sleeping so I want to get him use to a pacifier to soothe himself. He has a few Nuk pacis but it seems like the nipple is too small for him to keep a good grip on and he gets frustrated. I want to get an idea of what may work for him so if you EBF what kind of pacis does your LO use/prefer?
TIA

Nothing, lol no pack compares to the real nipple. I'm o. Kid 2 and can't find anything, my 6 month old drives me crazy bc he wants to comfort mystically night and my nips get soar. If not neither if us sleep

DD is EBF and is 4 months old. She uses the MAM binkys but the ones that are for 6+ months, because the 0+ month ones the nipple is too small and she just spits it out.

My daughter took NUK ones. But she did take bottles early on (I exclusively pumped for a while).
My son would not take any . I tried a few types, I wish I had tried more. He comfort nursed all the time (he would generally nurse for about 10 minutes every 20 - 60 minutes, and then on more then he was off for the 4 hours before he went to bed).

DS likes pacis he just gets frustrated cause they fall out of his mouth. I tried the Soothies too and he gags on those. the Mams have been suggested to me by a few people so I think I'm going to try them next.
