I'm not quite sure what a job center is. Like a temp agency?

Anywho. I'd tell him to do that AND look elsewhere.

$60 dollars for a new ID?? thats a little drastic don't you think? Sounds like excuses to me. I have been in the same boat with my husband and avoiding jobs when he really needs one and i have always confronted be prepared for a argument but something has to give either way lol

Your SO is a dumb ass. Don't bother talking to him. Just get out as soon as you can.. Talk to family.. friends.. women's shelters if you need to. There are programs that can help you get out of a situation like this.

Its hard to do, but you just aren't ever going to get through to him.. and you're never going to get anywhere with him.. and your situation is never going to improve... you and your baby will never be truly safe and secure.. until you get out and start working on doing it on your own. It sucks and its hard, but its your best option at this point.

He's a dick and he doesn't care about you or what you think about anything or he wouldn't treat you the way that he does... so talking to him will do no good at all.

Yeah it's like that, and I've filled out tons of applications. I'm willing to work anywhere, but no one seems to want to hire me.  

Just tell him that obviously his tactic isn't working and that at what 30 something years old? He should know by now how to go about getting a real job. It's a job in itself. He needs to get a resume together and hot the pavement/newspapers/online job search forums.

This just keeps getting worse and worse. So he cheats, hits, AND is lazy??? Wow, what attracted you to him again?!

It's around that price to get a permit. A new ID I only around 10$. Excuses!

I m confused is he on job seeker allowance??? if so he should get £160 every 2 weeks

I did a while back and he said "Well you don't have to go. I go by myself."

I've never heard of a new or duplicate ID being $60...

Op are u from the UK?
u both can get help from.the government if the both of you aren't working.
but it sounds to me like he isn't going to job center everyday.

That's what he told me. But it seems off because I got my California ID for only $7 because I got a fee reduction.  

and you also should be getting child benefit and work tax credit+ housing benefit....
