Umm. She needs to cut that smurf loose. Way too much baggage that he is seemingly holding onto or entertaining. Smurf that.

I'd say back away until they get it worked out.

Im friend with a girl who would be the "ex" in your scenerio. What the new girlfriend didn't/doesn't know is that the reason she kicked the guy out was he was sleeping with hookers, assaulting her, etc. The texts she sends are purely to get HIM to finally sign the legal documents that need to be done for the divorace, but he's stalling.

To the new woman, it looks like the ex is obsessed with him. She really isn't, but he makes it out that way. There's always another side to the story, and if you enter into a mess before it gets cleaned up it just gets messier.

Sounds like he needs some time to sort out his family issues before jumping into another relationship because he's obviously just dragging his girlfriend down. :/

Supposedly he has sorted everything out. I just don't want my friend getting hurt. She doesn't deserve to deal with crap like this!  

Doesn't sound like he has sorted out EVERYTHING he needs to let his ex know that there are boundaries and she needs to stop confronting your friend about their relationship because it's none of her business. Sounds risky to me!

I would definitely get out of that situation until the divorce is settled.

His wife seems like a nut! lol I'm afraid he's playing my friend. Like telling her one thing & the wife the other.

This! That's exactly what it sounds to me Hun. Hate it for her but she needs to get out before feelings and emotions get to deep. Or she accidentally ends up pregnant or etc etc.. it just doesn't sound like a good situation at all..
