baby showers

my mom and i have been having different ideas on when to have the baby shower, i want to have it before the baby is born but she wants it after the baby is born.. what is everyone's opinion on it???

I would do it before so that you have that stuff for when the baby comes.

Ive heard of people have a "meet the baby" type party! Pretty much a baby shower w the baby! I had mine before baby. If you get a ton of stuff youll be trying to take care of all of it and a baby! I would do it before.

I would have it before so you have most things before baby and I also you don't want your new baby passed around either to everyone there
