Menstrual Cycles..

posted 11th Oct
I have posted a couple of times about my Menstrual Cycles being off after having had a Miscarriage back in April.

Here I am in October (6 months after D&C) and still cannot get a "Regular" cycle. I went to my doctor last month, they did blood tests, and an UltraSound to make sure I was ovulating and to see if everything is fine. All TESTS came back possitive. Everything "looked Good" my Dr did suggest for me to get on Birth Control for a month to try to regulate my periods. To be Honest I was hesistant only because I wanted to TTC in November, and I thought if I would get on BC that would only push back for me to try again. I just wanted to have my body clear everything out and to be back on Birth Control was not really what I wanted.

Is there a possibility I can still try to get Pregnant without having a normal period? *I do get it every month but its really random I use to be 28 day cycle now it really just varies*
Or should I do what my Doctor Said about the BC? and try immediately?

Not sure any others that have been through this? What did you do?

How would you know that you were "ovulating"? my Doctor told me that if you are not having normal periods its hard to get pregnant.

I didn't. It was an oops. But, can you do OPKs?

Well, you have a couple of choices, you can just have a lot of sex, all the time (probably every second day will work).

Or you can track your ovulation. I recommend picking up a copy (or borrowing it from the library) of Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Even if you just learn how to watch your cervical fluids, when they are slippery and wet, have sex  .

I apologize if you already know these things (please don't be offended  ).

I have no experience with what you are going through. I wish you the best.

Definitely not offended!   I'm going to buy this book, and see what other options it has.
Thanks for your input!
