Last night we were lazy. We made meat balls then covered them with mushroom soup, and had home made fries on the side. Not the healthiest meal, but it sure does taste good once in a while.

Meatballs with rice?

Mix together white rice, one egg, one lb of meat and mix. Prepare pan with water, shape into balls. Put in water and cook until brown on outside then add extra rice into pan. Put salt as desired and cook until rice in the inside of balls are cooked thorough.

Serve with limon and crackers, yum!

Lela’s Famous Burgers:

  • 1LB-1.25LBs Ground Beef
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Dijon Mustard.
  • Worcestershire Sauce (several splashes)
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 3 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • Enough Red Onion to equally distribute in the ground beef. (I’ve had the best results putting the onion in a food processor)
