Its funny how people throw other forms of birth control out there like condoms and spermicides when they dont agree with what a mom chooses to do with their baby and body but wanna scream it doesnt work when it comes to abortions... sounds hypocritical.

There is always a chance they won't work...I've gotten pregnant on birth control 3 times, one of those times was with a condom. Can't use spermicides cuz there is something in them that makes me swell up, but yet I'm still on BC. OMG go smurfing figure. I know there is no full proof way to prevent a baby but there are ways to decrease your chances.

OP said that bc fails for her, and that's why she's pregnant. Others were telling her the NON HORMONAL birth control methods there are, since OP seems to think the only ones that work are hormonal.

And abortions have NOTHING to do with this topic. Once you say you are having this child and NOT aborting, you should do all in your power to get that child healthy... INCLUDING waiting until you are full term to even consider inducing.

I don't know what it is about spermicides... but they do the same to me. I swell and get hives too.   You're only the second person I've heard of with a similar problem.

Because ALL birth control can fail... but you can't exactly use that reasoning when you use a method you KNOW will fail.

I've never seen anybody say that they don't work in an abortion thread. I think you arep ulling smurf out of your ass just like OP.

Yeah SO and I can't use condoms for the most part, because most condoms have that spermicidal lube on them. It's ok, though, I'm just leaving my IUD in until January, then going back on the pill, which has always worked like a charm for me.

You are way over thinking this. BC does fail. No one is saying it doesn't. They are giving her different options to try.

yea I'm getting ready to go find a place that will put paragaurd in for me   We can only use sheep skin condoms and that smurf is expensive. So and I both are now at the point that if it happens it happens.

Thats funny bc i have. Women that have had multiple abortions like to scream their birth control keeps failing. Apparenly were not seeing the same thing.
