I don't understand it, never have.
I whole heartily believe in vaccinating your children and no one will ever change my mind about that.

Feel free to be entitled to your opinion. I am just looking for legit info on it. I don't want to be close minded.

My SO step mom does not get vaccinations for herself and is against it because her nephew became autistic from getting the flu vaccine..That's just what she said.

I'm also curious, though.
I'd like to see legitimate, factual information on it myself..

Like I said this is what I just heard, not something I am certain about.

You can allow it still...nothing there that's going to hurt your computer. I'd copy and paste it, but it's LONG and wouldn't be effective without the links to back it up.

No problem! I have a whole lot more if you'd like it. I've been looking into vaccines and making the difficult decision since I found out I was pregnant...it's been a long, difficult road.

I'll be honest, it sucks being labeled as "one of them" or a "nut job"...but I'm convinced vaccines aren't as safe and effective as we're led to believe. Until something convinces me otherwise, I won't let one single injection go into my daughters body. I've researched the diseases quite extensively and know the signs and symptoms. I know when I should take her to the hospital. I'm comfortable treating said diseases.

You can choose to catch up on vaccines later, however you can't take back a vaccine injury.

So, I've been debating not not vaccinating this baby when I have him. What ones do you choose to vaccinate your child w/ if you want to pick and choose, how do you know which one's are neccessary? I'm def scared of the "whooping cough" and it seems to be going around bad, here.

The whooping cough vaccine is ineffective. The recent outbreaks have been in mostly the vaxxed population! And you can only get the whooping cough vaccine along with diphtheria and tetanus. Here's the big thing...whooping cough is most deadly to an infant under 6 months of age. The pertussis vaccine isn't effective until the 3rd shot which is at 6 months. So it's basically pointless.

They will push you to get the Tdap after you have babe pushing "herd immunity," saying you need to cocoon LO. However, getting the vaccine will not keep you from being a carrier of the disease. So, you could still bring it home and not show symptoms.

When I get to my computer, I'll provide you with links.

I'd research Hep B first since they give that to LO before you leave the hospital. That would definitely be my suggestion for a starting point.
