yeah, that's why the one i get gives only "printing permission" rather than full copyright release.

well they should learn the difference between a print release and a copyright release. I'm sure they just want to give out print releases, rather than copyrights....

you pretty much can claim that you took all the photos now, if you have a copyright release. soo... cool for you....i guess...

I get ALL images on a CD edited and unedited with a copy right release for all.

I doubt SO would let me drive that far.   You should just do a swipe through TN on your way home.   It's beautiful hereeee

If we weren't military (aka poor), I'd pay $50-100 for photos of good quality. But we can't afford that. Although, we never get family photos done because of the cost issue---I just take my own photos of SO and DS. And I'm good at it. Until I lost a bunch of weight, I didn't really want pics of ME anyway, so it worked for us.

Now that I'm thinner and happier with my body (AND knocked up!!!), I want lots of photos.

i should've added a disclaimer...

i pay (ETA-- $200) and that is a discounted price because the photographer is my cousin. i get more time/images (e.g. one time i got 100 instead of 60 or 70) for the shoot and i also pay less. i could print through her too, but i just go cheap (shutterfly or costco) for sending prints out to the family and stuff.

We'll be driving I-40 across. How far will you be from there?

I grew up in WV and traveled all through PA, KY, OH, and TN as a kid---I LOVE the east coast. If the damn Marines would give me my husband back, I'd have my ass back on that coast SO fast it'd make their heads spin!
