Curious as to how many actually read your long story.

I honestly don't care what your reasoning was. It is still dangerous and I will never encourage it.

Blah blah blah, who cares. Have a nice night.
Unwatching as I've already said what I wanted to say. ^_^

It will only give you lots of contractions that do nothing for you but leave you in pain for a few hours and of course, make you poo. Thats about it.

I used it with my daughter and it worked for me. I drank it with orange juice. It was horrible because I had diarrhea all day but it worked. I took it in the morning and my water broke that night.

this is why i hate baby gaga right here.

the girl didnt ask any of you for your rude comments and certainly didnt ask for you to call her names either. if you didnt have a personal experience, good or bad, with castor oil then you should be responding!!!

ANYWAY.... the only thing i didnt try with my last pregnancy was castor oil, acupressure was what did it for me.
this pregnancy, my doc said i can try whatever id like to induce my labor at home, im 3 cm and 80% effaced... i tried castor oil last week expecting it to give me horrible side effects, but i didnt even get diarrhea or anything. just some contractions back to back that stopped after almost an hour.

good luck!! i hope you have your baby on your grandfathers bday, that would just be awesome for your family!!!

I had a friend that tried to induce herself,
Everything in the book.
Sex, walk, run, excercise, squats, oil, pressure on upper tummy, hot tub of water..

2 weeks later, her baby came.
When her body was ready,
Im a firm believer babies are on there own time

Quoting Nicole Jean Sanderson:" I am thinking of trying castor oil, my grandfather who has cancer really wants me to have my daughter ... [snip!] ... to see if they can scrap my membrane. if you have any tips that'd be great! i really want to have her on my grandpa's birthday!"
I took a tablespoon with my son.....well I mixed it with orange juice to be easier to take; but I still think I didn't get enough since I didn't develop bad diarrhea nor did I go into labor. I think I took it a day or two before my due date and was still 4 days over due! Also like OP said it may be some ladies dat cut you down bout this; but I feel like everyone needs to be educated on any topic they post about...even if people feel a certain way......plus ur reasoning for wanting to take it is cause others you know have. but they say it isn't good to take cause it would cause you and the baby both to get diarrhea and of course for baby you don't want that!

I won't take it again, cause it didn't work and I didn't know the effects; it was just something my Grandmother suggested! Plus nexted child will be a scheduled c-section!
