trying to get pregnant

my boyfriend just went to college this year on a full basketball scholarship and might be in the nba draft next year. im still in the 12th grade but will be attending the same college *if i dont get pregnant* i know how a little bit of fame can get to ppls head and make them forget where they came from. my mom is supportive of my decision and will be there for me through everything. i could possibly be pregnant now, im waiting for the day my period is supposed to start to take a test. i know that this is wrong but im getting desperate here. everyday that i talk to him i feel like im losing him and he's losing interest in me.

A baby isn't gunna keep a guy around if he doesn't want to stay. You are in 12th grade! Don't ruin your life over a boy.

Dont be selfish. You are going to end up ruining your life and his life.

You really think a potential NBA star is going to be concerned with you? Do you read any celebrity gossip? I can name 5 athletes who do not take care of their kids and that's just at the top of my head.

A baby is not going to keep him around. Get some self esteem, seriously.

Assuming since your in 12 grade you would be around 17 years old. I honestly think you should focus on school and college. There will be plenty of time to have a baby. Don't have one because you are desperate. A baby deserves to be brought it the world for the RIGHT reasons and IMO yours are the wrong ones, Like i said i wish i was able to go to college. Not many have that chance. You will be able to have a stable relationship one day and be READY for a baby. I do not think you are ready. Not even close.

I'm going to sound old when I say this, but:

If the relationship is not strong enough to withstand these current stresses, a baby will NOT help.

You are so young and have so many great times ahead of you. Please don't intentionally tie yourself down and make college that much harder.
