re: reality of a baby

Thats how I felt with my first. They were like okay we are going to take you in to the room now and I realized I was going to be cut open. Then when I was laying on the table they said you are going to feel a lot of pressure ....... when he lifted her up I was like WTF THAT WAS IN THERE!!!!! She was also 10lbs 8oz and i was in even more denial because she was WAY bigger then i thought a BABY was supposed to be lmfao.

I have a feeling its going to be the same way this time too

I had to have a section, it wasn't too bad. I'm 6 weeks post partum and feel pretty dang amazing. The most painful days, the first 3, I was on cloud nine with my baby and the pain didn't phase me much.

No No!!!! Trust me, it takes WAY more effort to be a bad mom then it does to be a good mom. I am sure you will be great!! I wish I could imagine her face - all I keep seeing is his big nose and huge lips - which then causes me to see his face on a babies body with a head band =/

I hope you're right.. I have zero newborn experience and I'm a nervous wreck. :p worried about SIDS, breast feeding, EVERYTHING. And I lol'd at the part about the big nose and lips.. hahah

That's a normal worry - first time mom or not. We allllll worry about SIDS and etc. I'm pretty worried about the breastfeeding as well - with my first I did NOT get to breastfeed - the NICU messed most of it up then my cracked nipples and ugh everything was just not going the way it was supposed to - so this time I am going to fight for it way more! You will do fine & your instinct will kick in, we all make a mistake here and there - but it will be fine =)

I was pretty lucky that in the looks department my first got most of our 'positive' features ... nose lashes lips eye color smile etc. Of course we all think our kids are so damn cute it wouldn't matter what they looked like lmfao. I am just really worried about her nose ... if she has his nose she HAS TO have his lips - bc my NON EXISTENT lips with his HUGE PROMINENT nose would just be AWFUL !!!

but it is so weird. i am panicked i mean from what it looks like - its his nose and lips ... which i wouldn't exactly MIND .... if they came together ... but if its the nose not the lips i would be sad ....really sad .... if it s the lips and my nose that would be pretty cute if you ask me lmfaooo

I am so happy DS got all of our good features somehow & he's a perfect combination of both! I'm really wonder what DD will come out looking like, though.. I really hope she doesn't have DH's nose too!! One of the U/S pics that I had, she kind of looked like my brother though :/ haha

hahahahaa see idk why but I keep looking at her 18 week ultrasound and i dont see it as my nose - i really feel like its his nose. The genetics on my side of the family though are really strong though so idk. But I look at him and his two sisters (he has 3 but i've never seen her) and they ALL have the SAME EXACT nose. His sister (the one right below him) just had her first baby and she has their nose as well. So I am preparing myself for it. I do see that she has nice lips so I am hoping that is his, I can't have her having his nose and my little ass lips that would be SO wrong!

When I saw her face recently she has really chubby cheeks like him too so idk. I've always heard the girls come out looking like their daddys and the boys come out looking like their moms.
I think my daughter is a good combination but everyone else says she looks just like her dad. Other then the hair (thats my NATURAL hair lol)

Her face is shaped like his, but she looks a lot like you  
Whenever someone sees mine son, they either say that he looks just like me.. or just like his dad, lol.. Saw a pic of DH a few weeks ago of when he was about my sons age & I was like.. OMG, he looks just like him, just with black hair, lol! I think he looked more like me as a baby..
