Nothing happens to Canada because of our defense pact with them. If America is out of the picture, Canada falls.

Mutual defense. If someone attacks Canada, we attack them. If someone attacks the USA, Canada gets involved.

Imo, Iran is being treated like Iraq was 10 years ago. Its Isreal claiming that they will have a nuke in 6 months. And theyve been claiming this since the late 90's. They are just making a case to use a pre-emptive strike cuz if we dont get them now, then they'll get us.  

And Im really concerned about this, because like someone else mention, Russia has said they will be on Irans side if they are attacked. I believe China said something similar too. So yea, I think there is definitely cause for concern if you see more anti-Iran sentiments being raised. If we go there, it will be nothing like Iraq.

Tell him to watch the documentary The Collapse on Netflix . Then he'll be even MORE freaked out.
