stupid 1 hour glucose test

just got my results, 142. they like to see it at or below 130, but 140 would've been fine. TWO POINTS. THAT'S IT   . now i have to do the 3 hour test. this sucks. i'm really not worried, but how many women fail with that small of a difference and actually end up having GD?

Usually that two points is because you ate. You should be fine when you fast. If you have GD, you have it. If they want it at or below 130, then 142 is high, and you do need to be checked. Its a 12 point difference of what it should be, 140 is just the highest they are comfortable, its still risky though.

I hate that damn test. I failed the one hour by a couple points too. I had to take the 3 hour twice, but I passed. I know a lot of women who failed the 1 hour and they all passed the 3 hour as well. Good luck!
