Ive heard people say "blahblah medicine isn't addictive" but cant someone become addicted to anything?

Depends on what kind of medicine, sure it's possible tho.

People can become addicted to water. Not physically, psychologically. Technically you can make the argument that they can be psychologically addicted to anything.

But there are many, many medicines your body can become addicted to. Like immodium. Who would think you can become addicted to immodium? lol You can.

No, there are only some meds that stimulate the reward/ Pleasure centers in the brain. Those are the ones that are addictive.

When people talk about an addiction gene is that a saying or a legit thing?

Ive always been told that I have an addictive personality but I just heard someone say my mother side of the family has an "addiction gene"

your body can even become addicted to heartburn meds bc your body forgets how to manage acid on its own. but yes adderal and ritalin is a speed
