There is a genetic component to addiction. They have proven it for alcoholics. There is also environmental...if you are raised by an addict, you are more likely to become one, even if you are not genetically related to them.

In a person with ADD/ADHD, it helps them focus.

It is amphetamines and essentially speed for anyone else.

I know that   That's what I'm on it for.

There was a big Adderall sting in our high school a few years ago so I guess its popular around here.

A lot of ADD/ADHD kids sell their medications. I've heard it can be profitable for them.

I don't think I'm addicted, but I am dependant on my psych meds to function.

And i'm sure that if I were to suddenly stop I know I'd go through withdrawls.


I think there is a difference

My ex sniffed one of my adderalls when we were younger. He said it made him want to teach lol
I think he had ADHD and just hadn't been diagnosed.
I'm not proud of this, but I used to sell it to this girl I knew because when I was in college I only took it when I had a test or had to study so I didn't use the whole months prescription. Never asked her how it made her feel though.
