another post but need opinions please

well for all the ladies that read my last posts if not here is a bit of background

im 41 weeks plus 1 day and i had a sweep yesterday wich hurt like a frickin bitch anyway had any of you ladies ever felt a crack down there where your LO's head is?? it was so weird because i felt it too as i was layed down resting then later on today lost a tiny bit of mucus plug...... i know the plug is normal but have any of you ladies ever felt or heard a crack down there im just wondering if that was normal????

Its the babys joint popping. jist like u ould crack a knuckle

yes my pelvis cracked all the time, from about 37 weeks up until now. Now though its only occasionally... for the first couple weeks pp it was cracking with every move I made! I really had to be careful when I stood up as well, to keep my legs together ect. I'm sure thats not the norm but yeah, cracking is pretty common.

I heard and felt a pop when my water broke.

i was laying still though so couldnt of been my pelvis?????

yep, mine would crack just doing kegels, sitting, standing or laying down. It would crack just moving positions in bed.

yeah I mean it happens when I'm laying still but only if I do a kegel, ykwim? Do you remember if you were squeezing down there at all? Otherwise it could be like the other poster said, the baby's joints? I've never experienced that though so idk.

was layed still on my back when it happened,probably his joints but thought i would ask on here.

I have popping sounds happening all the time...right now in fact. I think it's just LOs joints/bones popping. I only notice it when I'm laying down and being still

yeah and I could definitely feel it too, so most likely it wasn't your pelvis.

I'm still curious though about the sweep.. you said you hadn't made any changes... how did they get their fingers in your cervix to do a membrane sweep?

was done with a tiny bit of fingertip,im not even 1cm dilated but she really dug in so she could get in.
