Hi ladies, my baby was born yesterday afternnon. Since about 2:30 am she will hardly breastfeed. It's nearly 1:30 pm and she has nursed maybe 15 minutes all together. She would just rather sleep. I can't get her wake up enough to eat and I'm getting worried about her.
Sometimes it takes a day or two for them to wake up and eat. As long as she wakes up at least once and eats, you should be okay. Just keep offering it to her every two hours.
