I am 26wks pregnant and my exbf/bd walked away for a younger piece of ass.... says he is going to be a part of his sons life but he also has a 2yr old daughter he has never seen or had anything to do with.... I am in no place to take care of this child on my own. I have 2 other kids. One of my bff and i have been talking about permanent guardianship of my son...... I think it is the best option since i do not have the means to take care of him. Currently live with my parents and they will not allow this new baby in their home and are pushing for adoption.... Only thing is I want to be still be a part of his life and I want him to know who I am. How can I do any of this without donor's approval? He swears he would never let me give him up. He is 20yrs old cant keep a job and like i said has 1 kid already he has nothing to do with, drives his vehicle illegally up and moved in with this girl and her 2 kids not even a week after dating......

I think it's called an open adoption when you still have contact with the family.

I have no idea how any of that works. I would definitely look into your state laws on adoption and maybe even talk to a lawyer.

you could sign over your rights to him? If he refuses then the baby would go into the system? Idk really though.
