2nd pregnancy, baby dropping

Okay so this is my 2nd pregnancy.
my son was born at 36 weeks. almost 2 weeks after he dropped.

now today im 36 weeks, 37 on friday.
my little girl has dropped since monday so a little over a week ago.
I asked my doctor about it on friday, and he said yeah she has dropped. shes really low down there in the pelvic i can feel her head. thats what he said lol.
im thinking that this girl is going to be coming real soon like this week, maybe next week.
with 2nd pregnancies do babies drop right before labor starts, within 2 weeks about?

no, just because the baby dropped doesnt mean labor is about to happen, Just means the baby is in place for it to happen.

I dropped at 36 weeks with my son after being in preterm labor with him for 5 weeks and he was born 3 days late.

I dropped around 34 weeks with my daughter after being in preterm labor with her for 4 weeks and she was born at 36 weeks [i was 4cm and they ended up just breaking my water]. She ened up being a NICU baby.
