Regular milk and 9 month old?
posted 10th Oct
I know this is the wrong forum but for some reason it won't let me click any other one!!
My question is can I put regular milk like 2% or whole milk in my 9 month olds cereal ? Or do I have to use formula milk?

Use formula, plain cowmilk is not supposed to be introduced until after a year.

Milk is a high risk allergen, and you arent suppose to introduce it till 1 year, so use formula.

Formula, Don't use regular milk until after 12 months

I have fed my son bites of my cereal with milk and he is still not a year. but I'm sure you mean baby cereal and I'd say use formula.

i've had to do it once before, but i wouldn't make a regular habit out of it. i had a bad mommy moment and ACTUALLY ran out of formula (had never happened before and has never happened since) and mixed some of her cereal with milk while SO ran out to get formula. her baby formula is already cow milk based, so we did it. like i said, i wouldn't make a regular habit out of it, but i did it in a pinch.

I was told half and half or heavy cream for my son, but that's because he's loosing weight.
