I stated a few posts back our situation. I've been having an affair. He's been having an affair. We are seperated (not legally) since this past Monday. We are staying married until he gets out of the military for the benefits. We are going to live together as room mates.

If DH had unprotected sex with someone and then put my health on the line, then yes, I should absolutely know. But, if it was protected and he knew nothing came of it, I would rather not know. I definitely over-analyze every little thing and I would drive myself crazy with irrational what-ifs and insecurity. And like I said, I know myself enough to know that I know 100% I wouldn't leave him solely because of cheating, so I would be the one screwed if he told me because he couldn't handle the guilt.

I agree, there are definitely lots of people out there who would want to know, just like there are people out there who wouldn't be able to take that kind of secret to the grave. I just think it's one of those things that it's purely situational and just to figure out what would be best for the people involved.

It's not really hard on me, either, because we make better friends than lovers. How do I see the other man? We meet up at the bar or movies or dinner. Hell, DH and his girl and me and my guy are going bowling this weekend. We really aren't jealous people. I just wish everything had come out sooner so we wouldn't have to sneak around. Guy would come around when DH was at work and leave before he got home.

Yeah...we knew eachother a whole 5 months before we got married. I was 20, he was 19 and his dad had told him to do the right thing and marry the girl he knocked up. I should have known better because 1. we only knew eachother for 5 months, and 2. I'm not into long term relationships with people close to my age. I like old men and he just didn't fit that bill.

We would have probably seperated a long time ago if we both knew what was going on. It's weird because now we can see eachother all the time and be happy knowing we are friends and don't have to work on a relationship that just wasn't meant to be.

Theres this thing I read on MSN called 'the cost of cheating' it basically points out everything about cheating and theres a point called 'conceal or confess?' Just thought i'd share that lol

My parents were lucky 32 years in july lol
