The drug cartels in Mexico run Mexico. They kill anyone including children with no regrets.
Mexico in general is just to dangerous for me. I don't even bother crossing the border for vacations.

The only concern would be our safety.
Not all of Mexico is "bad".. I guess it would also depend on what part?

All of this. And my brother in law was stabbed and killed there by a 17 year old gang member. Who is walking the streets down there so no thanks.

There's really no part of Mexico that is completly safe. The cartel is everywhere down there. Oh and if you ever needed help the police are pretty much 95% crooked. There's no winning in their government...the citizens don't have real justice.

We arent even allow to travel there with armed security guards for work any more. It's too risky.

Mmm idk.. I have a lot of family other there and they have never felt unsafe where they live.

First of all it depends where your relocating to down there. It is not "dangerous" in all locations. Second look into schools down there. They teach the same thing just dont have a lot of the technology. They may have more now though. There is actually a town that is full of people that speak english down there. Also living conditions are not bad if you have money from here to help with your living conditions. Our money is more then there. Say you have 500.00 dollars its about 5,000.00 dollars down there. As for gealth make sure you have all the necessary shots from your doctor before you go down there.

Actually the police are starting to take over and bring the cartel down. Also the further south you go the more safe it is.

Oh and another thing. SO's family members went down there for vacation last summer and when they crossed the border a van with tinted windows started following them and about 2 hours later they stopped for gas, they van stopped too and about 10 police officers with shotguns got out and told everyone to get out of the car and they searched SO's aunt and uncle and little cousins and took all their money and said if you move we will shoot you.

I wanted to visit there but not anymore....

Exactly!.. i would move me and my future family but to be with our family and where they live is not bad.

Those are the jacked up cops or cartel. It also depends where they were because my family lives down south in mexico and that doesnt happen there. Barely any crime at all. Nice little town they live in.

They were on the highway coming straight down from the border lol. But yeah I agree some places are better than others. SO's family lives in Aguascalientes, about 12 hours from the border. It's pretty bad there....
