1 week post partum

I'm only one week post partum and I'm already done bleeding! Is it normal to only bleed for a week I heard of people bleeding for 6 weeks.. My stitches still hurt I tore and had to get an epesiotomy. It hurts to sit stand and walk. I got a lot of stitches

I only bled for 2 weeks.

They tell you that you can bleed UP to 6 weeks(or more for some women) but it doesn't mean you will bleed the whole time. I only bled for a week the first time, 1.5 weeks the second time and 4.5 weeks the third time.

I was bleeding off and on for about 4.5 weeks.

I recommend carrying a couple pads around just in case. I'm currently 1 week and 5 days post partum. I quit bleeding after only 3 days. Last night it came back while I was out running errands... made a mess of myself and embarrassed the hell out of me. I had an emergency c-section though, so it may be different for vaginal birth.

With my first I bled for 6 weeks exactly, with this one Im 2w 2d pp and done bleeding already.

Okay. So I it's different for everyone. I will carry pads around just incase though
