I agree! Ones my age were the same way, didn't have their life together. Plus They were party freaks. Which obviously bugged me because they could easily have kids and not know it yet. They weren't interested in kids yet. Oh well I went older needed someone to be ok and ready to settle down. Which then I met him he was already ready for me.

SO will be 32 in a few weeks. I'm 22.

I can agree with that. I might have a heart attack if my 15-year-old daughter said she was dating someone that much older than her. But when it's between two consenting adults, I don't think it matters.

Lol they don't think that! SO was 33 and I was 19 when we got together, and I looked even younger. The only people who cared were my parents and I think that's because we got an apartment together within a month and a half. I got pregnant 6 months later and they accepted him  
Don't be scared of what other people think!

Husband: 10 years older, first and only person I dated so "old" lmao...we've been together 9 years now.

I don't think so. My husband and i are 10 years apart and his parents are 15 years apar. It all depends how well you get along. The only thing is that u have to keep in mind that dating an older man does change some things. He /she might not like to go out alot or party often. Thats the idea of dating older men/women NOT ALL ARE LIKE THAT (just an idea   ) we have been together for 4 years and until now we get along very well .

I was the same way. SO snuck up on me.   He'll be 26 in 7 days and I turn 27 later this month.

I don't mind him not wanting to go out or party. That's what I'm looking for. I don't know how to word it, but the only worry I have is that he might be 'too old' if we wanted more kids. Not too old to have them, but it might be hard for him to run and play with them.

I get what you mean, but age doesn't determine that....health does.

I know plenty of early 20 year olds that are overweight, tired and always fatigued due to their lifestyles and food choices. And I know plenty of 40+ year olds who run 5 miles a day and do marathons and crazy smurf like that....so "age" has nothing to do with that in my opinion.

I fully agree with this.

SO is 45 and I am 23.
He is 22 years old than me.

I don't believe the age is an issue ((to my mother it is)) , but sometimes I really try to think what I am missing my not being with someone my own age who likes the same things as I do.

Such as SO can't just really go with me to hang out with my friends because he has nothing in common with most of them.

Yeah SO is freaking out because I'm only on baby #2 and we want 4-6. He wants me to pop the rest out with no breaks inbetween lol
He has a very unhealthy past though full of drugs drinking and heavy cigarette smoking, so I just hope him stopping all that at 37 is enough to prolong his life a little longer than it would have been!
Got him to stop all the drugs drinking and smoking now I need to get him exercising

Yhea i agree . That has been my husband's biggest fear. His 31 and worries he won't be able to play with out baby girl. Another is intimacy :0 i tell him joking around THEIRS ALWAYS THE PUMP AND VIAGRA :@)
