At her age, it's understandable to want it shorter.

My daughter probably has her beat for thin hair. I don't know where I went wrong, she was had tons of hair when little and around two it just stopped growing. She also has a few big waves and it always looks stringy.

This is her on her second birthday...

And a couple weeks ago. She just turned 4.



She has only had a couple trims in her life and I am kicking myself for not doing it more often when she was little, now I'm afraid to cut it because I'm afraid it won't grow. lol

And yea.. I hear ya, lately she whines and scream when I do her hair. It's brutal.

That's exactly why I was gonna cut it but maybe I won't......I was nervous about it but I do think I'm gonna cut about 4 inches of it off just because its never been cut.....she is 3 1/2 so it probably needs it.

Thats exactly how my daughters hair is and she is 5
Getting periodic trims did not help in the least with it being fine and limp  

I can't do a damn thing with her hair
