Quoting ♥ axel sean n me:" do you know why they are banned in canada? its strange that they are banned there but no where else (that i have heard of)"

because it's easier to ban something than to rely on people having and using their common sense.

They do not delay walking in babies.
That was part of the propaganda for banning them due to ignorance.

Both my kids used them and were early walkers.

My parents used them and we were early walkers.

exactly.

and a tripping hazard?

I mean, come on, kids trip on different flooring more with their own feet than something with 4 stable wheels to balance it

from a product liability standpoint, more injuries are caused by highchairs, cribs, slings and strollers. ban 'em all!

DS never had one and he didnt need it. His doctor told me not to use one, because it actually makes them lazy. He was taking sreps by 8 months and walking at 9 months.

I think they're useless and don't actually help kids learn to walk. Both of mine were walking at 9 months and didn't use them.

But to each their own, I know people who use them daily.

You know you're a Walking Dead fan when you read the title to this and you thought of baby zombies.
