DD is 2 1/2 months and I plan to keep going to a year or more. I went 7 months with my first and over a year with my second.

I'm currently nursing my 15-week-old little man with no plan to stop any time soon! I didn't quite make it to the one-year mark with my first two, but my goal is to go beyond that with this one!

Thanks for all your replies guys!

I love breastfeeding but damn it's hard when most of your friends are tryna persuade you to formula feed....

All of SO's family were formula fed but breastfeeding is the norm in my family, SO completely supports me EBF though!

It's the hardest most rewarding thing to do in the world, I love it and don't plan to give up soon, especially seeing many of you breastfeed over 12 months gives me encouragement that I am doing the most wonderful thing for my baby

You can do it! I went back to work at 7 weeks postpartum and I'm still BFing my 16 month old. We didn't have to supplement at all. It was rough sometimes but worth it. I pumped at work until she turned 1, now we just BF at home (usually in he mornings and before she sleeps). Good luck!

By federal law, they're required go give you time and a place to pump (provided they employ more than 50 people) until your LO is 1. Since you already have a well established supply you may be able to just pump once a day. Wort comes to worst you can pump in your car.

i have a electric pump. it's a dental office...and everything is open. So really there isn't many options on where I can pump. my new boss is supposed to call me sometime this week and i'll have to ask her about it.

edit: and not sure how many people are employed there..dont think its 50. but it is like a chain dental office so i dont know if you could count the employees in the other offices and the corporate office.

Been breastfeeding for 8 weeks, had a really rough start his mouth was to small so he didn't latch properly. I was pumping for the first two weeks when I wanted to give up as it was so tiring pumping, washing bottles, feeding, pumping again! So I got the nipple shields and it's been great! I want to breastfeed until his 1 but I'll be happy with 6 months!   congrats op!

I'm think it counts as over 50 if its part of a larger company, but Im not 100% sure. i would definitely ask. You could just do it at lunch and maybe on one other break. I used to carpool with DH and pump on the way home! Lol. You will find creative ways to fit it in.
