Advice please

Had my membranes stripped today and started feeling the contractions and i think i lost some of my plug. and im also having issues with the restroom TMI sorry   Could i be a sign of maybe starting labor soon???

My midwife stripped mine on March 13 at 5:30. She told me that IF it was going to work it would happen within the next 24 hours. I went home and was cramping like I would for a normal period. I started bleeding, which she said was normal. I was able to go to bed that night, but around 2:30am I woke up to contractions. At 5:25pm the next day my daughter was born. Almost 24 hours EXACTLY. lol

Its hard to say. It could be that you are starting labor or it could just be from the "trauma" of the stripping. I was stripped 3 times and each time after I had the bleeding, a lot of mucous, cramping like mad, some contractions etc....then it stopped and I continued pregnant for days!

I hope it is for you but be aware it might not be so you don't get too upset if its not

i think that is whats going to happen to me because the cramping has slowed down and i've been doing a lot of walking though. So even if it doesnt work my due date is 2 weeks away : )

man i walked myself silly after getting stripped with my 5th. It was near 100 degrees out and I walked up and down our road hoping hoping those contractions meant something. Man I was so dissappointed. I was already over due when I had each stripping done

that's what im doing lol.... well hopefully it works if it doesn't its still ok like i said my due date is 2 weeks away anyway : )

Hopefully it helped a little!! I had my membranes swept the day before my "induction" to give my body one last push to go into labor without induction.. I had a lot of cramping, spotting and mucus (TMI sorry) for several hours after the sweep, and then it sort of fizzled out and I was super sad. Right around midnight that night, I started having minor contractions. They got my attention but I didn't have to focus on them too much. Then those sort of came and went for a couple hours and they fizzled out. We got up at 3:30 am to get ready for the induction, and right around 4 they came back with a vengeance and my daughter was born a little under 4 hours later. lol Hope you get some results soon!!
