C section question

I had my daughter by emergency c section last Monday and since then I have been having shivering fits where I feel like I freezing to death but when I take my temperature I'm not running a fever so I don't think my incision is infected or anything it looks like it's healing perfectly although it's sore. Anyone else have this after a c section?

Do you suffer from anxiety at all?

I don't really get much anxiety and no I'm not anemic

Hmm .... are you losing a lot of blood ? any pain inside?

I'm bleeding a lot but I thought it's.normal to bleed after having a baby?

yes but the amount and color can mean something is wrong . I kept getting VERY dark blood , and it was still really heavy like Edit * 11 days PP and then I started getting pain on the inside . Everyone kept saying it was normal etc... but the pain got so bad I was in tears ... went to the hospital and it turned out I had an infection in my uterus. So just keep an eye on it , and if something just doesn't feel right call your OB up .

I hope so too! They didn't have time to do all the prepping they normally do for a c section because they had to get her out immediately so I'm extra sore and it's kinda hard to recover with a newborn I've noticed lol but it's worth every minute!

yeah it takes a while to get back to yourself ... mine was like a semi emergency . I went in for a non stress test and they took her out soon after . I will say if you breastfeed and you have to go on antibiotics start eating LOTS of yogurt or taking the active bacteria for your belly ... I will be doing it before my next one now that I know all I know now LOL.
