With my first I gained about 15 by then, I gained all my weight in my second trimester and it slowed to barely nothing in the third. I gain total 32lbs. This pregnancy I am almost 19 weeks and at my 16 week appointment I had gained 4 so I don't know where I am at now, but kinda nervous to find out lol.

I was 137 pre-pregnancy, I'm 5'11''. At 30 weeks I had gained 27 lbs! I gained 41 lbs total. My baby was almost 10 lbs, so I blame it on him. I lost all the weight and then some, I started out this pregnancy at 128lbs.

I think your weight gain is perfect! I am 5'5 too I started out 113-115. I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and I'm 132. So I've gained 17-19 pounds too lol. My doctor said my weight gain is right on track to be within the 25-35 pound range at the end. I gained 42 pounds total with my daughter and started out at 120. It came off quick after. If ur doctor is not concerned then you should be totally fine!!

I'm not really that worried about how much I gain. I was just wondering if I was on the right track. Gaining to much is unhealthy for the baby also.

I know I gained at least 30 by the end of my first pregnancy, can't remember how much I had gained at the specific time you asked about though. I only gained 15 lbs with my second, and at 38 weeks with my third I have gained 19.

You're lucky regarding your doctor. My doctor always seems to throw my weight at me. Like "remember the less you gain the less you have to loose after" and because I'm already at 25lbs that I shouldn't be gaining anymore even though technically I have up to 35lbs to be in the average weight gain.. It really makes me self conscious about my weight.

Ugh I'm sorry about your doctor.... I do feel ya though. My doctor with my daughter was similar. He kept telling me to "lay off everything but the kitchen sink" because apparently I was gaining to much. It made me feel self conscious too especially since she was my first. I think your weight gain is perfect! You still have 10 more pounds of weight gain to still be in the normal range. And no biggie if u go a little over that! I actually stopped gaining much in the last month with my daughter.

I was about 147 and I'm 5'4" 1/2 and now I'm 29 weeks and Weigh 160 so I've gained 12 pounds so I'd say your doin pretty good my Dr. told me months 2-4 your supposed to gain like 4 or 5 pounds and then each month after that atleast 2-4 pounds.

I'm not upset about my weight, I was just wondering if it sounded normal for my height and how far along I was.
