What do you think?

Ok...So at my 36 week appointment my b/p was high 140/85. I had +1 protein in urine. doc had me do a 24 hour urine and cbc. I was neg. for preE. and diagnosed with PIH. Went today for 37 week check up. B/p was 137/100 but no protein. Doc had me lay on left side for half hour and checked again and it was 147/100. She sent me straight to L&D to stay overnight. they are running another 24hour urine. When I left her office she scheduled me for my 6 week PP appt. instead of my 37 week appt. and told me we will more than likely be inducing tomorrow. I got to the hospital and the nurse told me nothing is set in stone yet so I may go home...what do you mommas think the odds are of me being induced tomorrow?

Depends on what your blood pressure does. If they can get it under control(where they want to see it) then you will probably go home

Trust your doctor. if he says you more than likely will be induced then most likely you will UNLESS they can get your BP to normal levels and keep it down and of course if your urinalysis goes good.

I am kinda in the same situation right now. I went for my appt on monday and they told me my bp was high so they tested for pre-e and the 24 hour pee, but my protein was +3. I go back on thursday, and I am extremly nervous becasuse I am not sure what to expect since I have been in pre term labor for almost 6 weeks and tested positive for group b. I hope all goes well with you

if your urine is fine and your bp stablilizes they will probably try to give you another week or so. They may try meds for the BP. If your urine is bad or your bp isn't looking good they have check the baby to see how ready he looks. They may try to keep you there for some days to give him a couple more days or they may just induce you right away

I had pre e (well at the time is wasnt for sure) but i was kinda having a funky day and had a bad headache and was seeing spots and my blood pressure was up. My dr wanted to do a 24 hr urine and sent me over the hospital. That was on a tuesday and I left sat! (my urine came back at the min of what was the amount for pre e) I was 34 weeks. Went to the dr tuesday and they took my blood pressure and it was very high, did a nst and he was like nope, go to the hospital. As soon as I was 35 weeks (the next day) they induced me. Had to end up having a c section and I was on mag. Took my bp a while to go down and I stayed in the hospital til sunday so they could monitor it. So, it just depends. My dr really wanted to get me to 35 weeks. He said that he felt baby would be healthy enough and not have to spend as much time in the NICU. She spent 18 days cause she had a hard time eating.
