When you checked in didnt he have to have the card and show ID?? That should be a good bit of proof. But things really still could get very sticky for you without proof that he told you you could get all the other things

you will need a lawyer. It will be your responsible for proving your own case.

And to answer the other questions, he was there with me when I checked in. He was supposed to pick me up from the airport but wasn't able to so he met me at the hotel. The bill is close to $3000 I don't have that kind of money.

DO NOT contact him anymore!!! WORST thing!! You NEED a lawyer.. You should call around.. explain the situation.. some lawyers will work with you and let you pay or you might get lucky and find a pro-bono lawyer.

They they will have him on tapes at the hotel, checking you in. You have to show ID when paying with a card or have the card in hand when checking in.

Of course she is angry, and wants someone to pay the bill. She couldn't buy groceries for her kids, because of this mess. She is a victim.
