My cousin, God bless her, was put on a diet at 8 because her mom didnt want her to get fat. Sure she had a little meat on her bones but thats the last thing a child needs to worry about. Now at 22 she still sneaks food and has a horrible self image. Normal height/weight ratio but she thinks shes obese.

Women need to learn to not need that kind of validation to have confidence. Women and men judging other women need to learn their critiques aren't necessary. They should just stop getting their self esteem from boasting who is hot or not.

I get a lot of compliments but being called a whore constantly is taking a toll on my self esteem   I try to be nice to women and it seems like they all take that as me being nice because I'm smurfing their men   My self esteem is suffering but I don't know if that's my fault for letting it affect me or not.

I can't stand the term whore or slut. Men have no equivalent derogatory term that can be used to put them down. I've been called that a few times myself which is laughable. I just reflect on the person who is doing the name calling because every time it has been someone who doesn't even know me and doesn't like me. So they are just going for the jugular the easiest way possible since it is such a nasty name.

It keeps happening at my job! And I don't get it.. I laugh in their faces, which only seems to make it worse for me at the time   After i think about it though, it does hurt my feelings. I wouldn't let them know that though.
