Measuring Big

I have measured right on my whole pregnancy so far. 3 weeks ago I went to my dr and they measured me at 26 weeks which I was and I went back this week and they measure me at 32! I am only 29 weeks. That is a growth of 6 in 3 weeks! Does this mean that baby boy is big or am I further along? He is head down already and his but is all the way in my ribs so he doesnt have much room!

Could be fluid or baby's position.

Baby could just be in a different position. Or you could have more fluid. Or could be a big baby. I measured 3-4w ahead with DD starting around 30w; she was 8lb even at 37w3d

It could mean he's big but I was always measured farther along on the u/s than I was and my baby was a perfectly normal size and born on her due date. The later u/s are not as accurate for dating as the earlier ones.

It could mean he's big, but sometimes measurements are wayy off.
i was measuring 36 at 40 and my doctor was concerned so he sent me to have an u/s to make sure baby was thriving in the womb. He thought she might just a be a shrimp.
PSH. Had an 8 1/2 lb baby.
I wouldn't worry about it unless your doctor tells you something is wrong.
