Idk. I would try without holding it all snuggley because he might just get irritated that u aren't giving him boob. If he wot take it you can probably try. Just go with the flow I guess. You won't really know how he'll react until you do it unfortunately.

This was my thought.

at 11 months you can mix in some cows milk if needed.

I know it's hard mama. Maybe give him one extra solid meal that day not enough to mess up his tummy but just to help him from being too hungry. And do foods that are easy on his tummy.

Just trying to give you options. I know for me I cannot pump anything to save my life.

I know thank you for theadvise, it just that my LO has a very sensitive tummy that is why we had to hold off on solids, he can't have any formula and I think that on a day that will be hard for him I need to make sure I get him my milk.

I am also going to contact his pediatrician and see if they agree that pump and dump for 24 hrs is necessary. I know that sometimes Dr's are extra precautions when it comes to things like that. The pediatrician has a book on all medications and how they affect breastfeeding. The pediatrician might tell me that it is only 18 hours or something... who knows. I am going to double check with them just to see.

Since I have about 3 days to pump for only one day I think I can plus the hospital pumps are really good. I produced a huge oversupply for about 6 months. I sure wish I knew that is what that was and would have stored some of that milk.

I don't know how to make the milk the right temp for my LO
