The court process is extremely tiring emotionally and mentally. Nobody is going to go through that again knowing that the person is going to die serving the sentence they already received.

! This and i'm not sure what the sentencing guidelines are in PA for these types of crimes, but maybe the judge imposed what he felt was just, and what was within reason for those guidelines

Honestly, yeah. If my kid had been one of tbose victims and all he got was 30 years? That seems like nothing compared to his 45 guilty coumts. Would I be petitionimg for more? No, but it would always bother me.

Im pretty sure the jury and the judge were fair in the decision they arrived at, despite the pressure that was put on them. The only way to truly serve justice is to take back what was done to these boys....and evidently that will never happen.

This is going with the assumption he will only serve 30 years, he has a 60 year max which would be about 1.3 years per count

Yea but that's typically one charge....he had like 45 or something.

As for the op, as long as its not 30 do half and then more off for good behavior, it's enough. I hate bullsmurf.

You truly would feel that justice had been served if your child's abuser only got 1.3 years?

I would feel that since he's 68 he's going to die in there anyways so why further upset myself/my child when he basically got life without the words I wouldn't focus on the amount of time per count more so than the fact he got what he did and wasn't let off with a slap on the wrist

Yes. No matter what number you put on it, he's going to die there, and probably live in fear for the rest of his life because of the other inmates.

He got what he deserves. He will die there, good enough for me.

I would have preferred his sentence to be cutting off his genitals and then a bullet to the head.

He'll more then likely die before he gets out.
