the babysitter!!!!

my fiancee and I, want out for evening so we arranged a babysitter our next door nieghbour, step-daugter Kacey, offered to look after the kid's as she always looked after my oldest child but i didn't really want to leave my one week old baby with her in case it got a little to much but she assured me that it would be fine and i needed to relax so me and my partner left at 8pm after putting our son to bed.
I,told Kacey we would be back dead on 1am and she wasn't allowed any people in the house while i'am not there but we got back a lil bit early around 12pm, my man opened the front door the whole living room area was trashed with beer cans everywhere and loud music playing our first reaction was to check on our kids Harvey was sound asleep in his bed. we went into the Nursery room my one week old baby a was wide awake she had been crying u could see the tears in Ella eyes. who knows how long my baby was screaming for i left my bloke to sort our daughter while i went back downstairs i told everyone to leave as soon as they had gone i sit the babysitter down and had some harsh words
with her saying: do u know how dangerous it was to leave a baby unattended for so long and leave the windrows open my son could off fell out or someone could of climbed in i said i wouldn't take it any further would no longer need her services and no payment she said fine i asked Kacey to leave and never to knock on my door again.

how old was the babysitter?
my god, that is awful.

Not to be rude but there's no way in hell I would leave my 1 week old with anyone let alone some neighbor girl. I'm sorry this happened though.

lesson learned, i guess. i'd make sure to tell any other families she may sit for what happened.

i could trust her we had grown up together.

Obviously not! But really I just think 1 week is too early to be leaving your baby unless like she said it was an emergency. I hardly felt like getting out of bed at that point let alone going out.

This (I really want to think she meant one month) but if not wth your not even suppossed to be out a week after IMO. Sorry about your situation though

I think it was proven that she can't be trusted.

I don't know it still says she was due the 2nd so I'm thinking she just had him.

I'd never let her watch my kids again, sorry that happened OP.

That's awful. But I didn't think babies could cry tears until about 2 months of age.
