hi, everyone thanks for ur comments, the reason why we went out we needed to talk and Kacey, was not only the neighbours step-daughter she was my friend and we had grown up together and she could be trusted with my kids.

Strange. I have 2 children and neither cried tears until about 2 months of age.

i have to agree with everyone else, that's horrible that happened but i would never leave my small baby with anyone. I dont trust anyone with my babies/kid unless it's family or someone i have in my life alot. I have my reasons from a family lose years ago, so maybe i'm paranoid.

I must add too you said you left at 8 and wanted to come home at 1am, that doesnt sound like talking to me lol

  their tear ducts aren't fully developed until between 1-2 months, so no they cannot cry tears at 1 week.

OP, sorry that happened but I wouldn't leave my newborn with anyone really. I'm surprised you felt like going out so soon.

Wow, thats absolutely insane that she was drinking and smurf... seriously... I would of absolutely gone nuts.

Now I don't think anything is wrong with going out to dinner or something with a wee one, but gone all night... yeah, maybe its a bit too soon.
