unusual comfort item

does your baby have one? DD is 4 1/2 months old and LOVES hair. she has played/pulled/chewed on mine since birth. i know its not good for her and i usually stop her. i just think its so weird. she's be practically inconsolable, but when she gets a handful of my hair and sucks on it, it calms her right down. any other bubs like this? does you LO have something unusual that comforts them?

My son will grab my hair while laying in bed and snuggle it lol. He loves hair, he doesn't try to eat it too much, but he likes to have it on/near his face or at least in his hands.

My daughter LOVES my hair. She falls asleep holding it and when she is awake she rips it out! I keep telling her "I know you dont have much hair but ripping mine out and/or eating ot wont make yours grow any faster"

She doesn't listen lol.

that's how DD is. if i'm holding her, she goes straight for the hair. lol. she loves it when i lean in to kiss her face and my hair falls all around her.

awww. she does this cute little blinky thing like she's scared to get it in her eyes but she grins real big!

DD is the same way with my hair, but only when she's sleepy. She likes to run her fingers through my hair while she's falling asleep in my arms.

my 22 mn old son like to rub cotton on his face....and blankets too lol..i have a video of his ultrasound with him rubbing his cord on his cheek..its kinda weird how he carries cotton everywhere but im used to it now lol

awww. haha. that's funny. DD likes to borrow her face into stuff around her. blankets, someones shoulder, stuff like that.

She will be 6months old in a few days.   she has been pulling my hair forever lol

When my daughter was younger she has to have a wet towel, either from her bath or you would have to get a rag wet, just one corner. She would rub it on her face to fall asleep. My son will just play with the back of my hair when he's falling asleep.

My daughter loves to put her whole hand in your mouth and touch your teeth and tongue. It's reallyyy weird.

my son is 9 weeks old and my hair is also a comfort for him, he just likes to have a big chunk of it in his hands to settle him to sleep iv tried enticing him away with a comfort blanket and a wubbanub but he holds them with one hand and my hair with the other lol
