The name Max

feels like its missing the rest of the name.

just Max? not Maxwell or Maxamilian (sp??)

I think max is more of a nickname. I also just don't like it, idk why though. It's a nice enough name.

I have a cat named Max, and that is all I think of when I hear the name. I don't hate it though

I think of a goofy movie when I hear max.

I don't care for it as a given name. Maximilian, Maxim, Maxwell or Maximus is nice.

I'm bias. My husband's name is Maximiliano (whooo) and of course we call him Max. His whole name makes me think of Milano cookies lol.
I like the name Max. If I liked Jr's and we had a son I'd name him Max. But I don't like the idea of having a Jr, so our future son will have a different name lol.

Max is a nickname in my opinion.

I adore the name Maximus!! I wanted to name my youngest that at one point, but husband said no way. Also Macsen is nice as well, I considered it. It's the Welsh form of Maximus!

love the name Max. it's too short for me though, and i don't really care for the longer versions of the name.
