My baby is scared of whistling?

My mom was whistling yesterday and all of a sudden my son started crying really bad. We didnt know it was the whistling at first, so I picked him up and calmed him down. She started whistling again and his eyes got real big and he started crying again and we finally realized he's afraid of whistling.

That was just so bizarre to me. He was TERRIFIED, ive never seen my baby like that. Hes only 4 months, nothings happened in his life to be afraid of a whistle  
Maybe his ears are just sensitive?

Maybe I'm a bitch, but I definitely chuckled  

It may just be one of those unfamiliar noises, freaked him out.

im that mother that hates to see her baby cry. But it happened a couple of time before we finally figured out why he was crying and my mama felt all guilty. Though it is funny when he cries because he gets pissed at me...which he does often.
