difference between boy and girl belly

I understand for each women every pregnancy is different and many women who carry boys or girls will have a different shaped bump every pregnancy especially if you have been pregnant before and get pregnant again it may show faster or take on a different shape. I haven't found out the sex yet of my baby, but I know there are clues your body can give you or ultrasounds to determine sex of the baby. So I noticed with this baby that my bump has been super pointy and my friend was saying that with her boy her tummy was more round and with her girl that her tummy was more pointy. Any preggers ladies notice that this happened with them too? that the shape of their tummies did determine the sex of your baby and it did end up being what you had predicted?


as far as me.. what did you think I am carrying?

a bebe ;) Who knows. Maybe it has a penis, maybe is has a vagina. I have no clue.

The only way to know your fetus' sex is via detailed ultrasound or when they are delivered.

And even ultrasounds can be wrong

lol honestly u look like your carrying low. I am 34 weeks and 3 days pregnant and i carried my baby low the entire pregnancy.. (ill never know what its like when mothers say their baby kicked their ribs) Are you ready???? Im having a boy!! lol
But you really cant tell because i could have swore on my life i was having a girl. i compared myself to everybody and i just knew it was a girl. I cried when they told me it was a boy ( i am super excited now)
BUT i do have to say that usually a boys heart rate is slower than a girls. my babys heart rate is usually low 140s and girls ive heard some being 160s but everybody is different.(i had a patient with a girl and her heart rate was always 130s)
im carrying low and its a boy. my best friend carried high it was a girl. my aunt carried low it was a girl. Everybody is diff

Yup! I had a super round, low and a pointier, medium high... I had boys

your belly does not give "clues".
Crazed women like to misinterpret everything as a clue or sign in pregnancy.

Your belly will look different depending on the size and position of your baby and placenta.

How many weeks are you?? just wondering

Awww, Yeah you rally cant tell by the belly, But i was round (ALL the way around) with my son and my daughter is sitting high. My cousin said all of her boys sat high. When do you get to find out? How exciting for you!!

By what i see, you look like you have a baby sittting hard in one spot. OUCH poor momma. But with my little girl i carried high and this one is a boy and at any point in the day my stomach looks different! Its hard up high, then down low, then it goes soft.

Typically, not always obviously, when you look down at your belly if it looks like a basketball most likely a girl. I f it looks like a football, most likely a boy. This is my 2nd, first was a boy and I for sure had the football. This time is also a boy. Getting the football shape although this time it took longer.
